Bob Arnold, Jr. is the Vice President of Arnold Standard Cos. His areas of expertise include Federal and State Department of Labor Issues including Employment Incentives, Unemployment Insurance Taxes and Wage & Hour matters, as well as Workers’ Compensation and other areas of Insurance. Bob has consulted on many high-level policy issues involving mergers, acquisitions and other corporate transactions. In addition, he defends clients against federal and state Departments of Labor and NYS Workers’ Comp Board compliance actions, resulting in significant savings. Bob is also a licensed Insurance Broker and serves as President of Arnold Standard Risk Services, Inc., an independent insurance agency. He received his B.S. with majors in both Finance and Marketing from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University.
Bob maintains a vast professional network of experts in their respective fields, and continuously educates himself through his membership and participation in many professional organizations, including: Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), Strategic Services on Unemployment & Workers’ Compensation (UWC), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), American Society of Workers’ Compensation Professionals (AMCOMP), Professional Insurance Agents of New York (PIANY), Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of New York (IIABNY) and the New York/New Jersey Electronic Crimes Task Force (NYECTF) administered by the US Secret Service.
In addition to serving on the Board of ADDAPT, Bob is a Past President and current Board Member of the Institute of Management Accountants, Long Island Chapter, and Past President of the Metropolitan New York Regional Council of IMA. Bob also serves on the Board of Directors of the Bob Feller Act of Valor Award Foundation, which through the unique intersection of baseball and the US Navy, recognizes and honors those who support our service men and women with the Bob Feller Act of Valor Award. The Bob Feller story is used to set a new standard for social responsibility, by educating the youngest generation of the virtues of Citizenship, Service, Sacrifice and Legacy. Bob also helps to raise awareness of the need for blood donations by organizing and promoting Blood Drives through Long Island Blood Services. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Towers of Freedom Military Monument, Inc., a charitable organization responsible for constructing a monument to memorialize those lost during the tragic events of 9/11 and our fallen military members in the subsequent War on Terror. Bob serves on the Board of Alert LI, the local chapter of ACT for America, the nation’s largest non-profit, non-partisan, grassroots organization devoted to promoting national security and defeating terrorism.
