Trays of croissants, chafing dishes of bacon and eggs, steaming urns of coffee… and the Lunar Excursion Module, a bright yellow V-1 Buzz Bomb, an F-6 Tiger II… and Bob Botticelli!
It isn’t everyday that one has breakfast in an engaging environment like The Cradle of Aviation Museum, but March 11th was special. ADDAPT had its first large scale meeting of the year, The Founders and Future’s Breakfast. Honoring the venerable Charlie Seelinger and the energetic Zuhal Cevek, the event was a celebration of ADDAPT’s rich history and an invitation to a promising future.
Also unveiled Monday was a new ADDAPT initiative, the Made on Long Island project. The goal of Made on Long Island is to increase the worldwide visibility of A and D parts and assemblies made on Long Island.
The turnout was excellent, and thank you to all who attended and made the morning a success. And an extra warm thanks to our breakfast sponsors, Edgewise Energy, AAR Aircraft Components, and North East Finishing Company, whose generosity made sure everyone had plenty to eat and drink.
