Mr. Golan-Yanay covered the Fancraft Technology of Urban Aeronautics and the future of Urban Aerial Vehicles in military and commercial applications. This is a growth field and there is tremendous opportunity in it.

Between 2015-2019 Nimrod served as VP of Delivery, at Amdocs, a $3.9 billion software and services company for communications, media and financial services providers and digital enterprises (NASDAQ: DOX). At Amdocs he was responsible for a direct and indirect global team of 500 people functioning as an independent business unit (Revenue EBIT, P&A, KPIs), leading program planning and execution and business development with customers (AT&T, Comcast, Dish and Orange) – integrating multiple internal and external stakeholders (Product R&D, Solution and Architecture, Testing, Deployment, Support and Operations). At his last position Nimrod lead the delivery part of Orange Spain 100M Euro deal presale to sign-off.
Between 2006-2008 Nimrod was Director of Business Development at RAFAEL – Armament Development Authority Ltd. Missile Division, responsible for setting long term marketing strategies targeting customers domestically and overseas. Nimrod lead the sale of 250M NIS advanced sensory military concept program to be included in 2007 IDF Multi-Year Plan.
As his final assignment of his military career (1990-2015), Lieutenant Colonel (ret.) Nimrod Golan-Yanay was Head of the Helicopters and Special Forces Branch at the Israeli Air-Force, defining operational requirements and managing development and acquisition budget. As part of this assignment Nimrod collaborated with domestic and foreign (mainly US Government) military (US Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, NATO), academy and civilian stakeholders in support of project execution, working extensively with Israeli and foreign defense industries (Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Bell, Sikorsky, CAE, Elbit, Rafael, IAI and others). At his position Nimrod lead the latest IAF Blackhawk squadron acquisition $350M program, and in addition, initiated and lead the V-22 Osprey new squadron’s $800M contract.
Nimrod also has extensive experience as an IAF Search and Rescue helicopter pilot after graduating from the Israel Air Force Flight Academy in 1997 and still active (Res.) as a commander and flight instructor. Nimrod holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion Institute of Technology (1995) and a Joint MBA from Northwestern Kellogg University and Tel Aviv University (2006).
